Yorkville Woman Charged With Domestic Battery: Oswego PD
Oswego police said a Yorkville woman was arrested Sunday evening after they responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the village.
OSWEGO, IL — A Yorkville woman was charged with two counts of domestic battery after an incident Sunday in which a man sustained minor injuries, Oswego police said. Andrea Yackley, 24, was arrested shortly after 4:20 p.m. after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Chicago Road, police said.
Police said the victim was a 28-year-old man who sustained minor injuries in the incident. Police also said he did not require transport to a hospital.
Yackley was taken to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, where she was held overnight to await an initial court appearance Monday. She was released Monday afternoon on a personal recognizance bond — essentially a promise to appear at her next court date — after posting $1,000 bond, according to inmate records from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
