14-Year-Old Boy In Stable Condition After Hit-And-Run In Palos Park: Police
Palos Park police are looking for a Ford F150 pick-up truck after it struck a 14-year-old boy on an e-bike and didn't stop, police said.
PALOS PARK, IL — A 14-year-old boy riding an e-bike was hit by a pickup truck Monday evening that did not stop after striking the boy, Palos Park police said.
Around 9:40 p.m. the boy was crossing 80th Avenue east to west on an e-bike on 127th Street, when police said the boy got clipped by a pickup truck.
The teen was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he is listed in stable condition from a broken collarbone and road rash, or abrasions.

Chief Joe Miller, of the Palos Park Police Department, told Patch that the truck appeared to be a dark-colored Ford F150 with a 4-door club cab.
“Cameras picked up the truck traveling northbound on 80th Avenue before turning eastbound on 123rd Street after he makes contact with the e-bike,” Miller said. “We are working on getting an image of the plate number.”
