SUNDAY, NOV. 3
DUI on College Drive
Thomas Leatherman, 41, of the 6900 block of W. Laramie Avenue in Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving. He was stopped at 12:42 p.m. in the 7900 block of College Drive for several lane violations, police said. He showed signs of being intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests, police said.MONDAY, OCT. 28
DUI on Ridgeland
David J. Duque, 37, of the 8000 block of S. New England in Burbank, was charged with drunken driving. At 1:51 a.m. officers observed him following another car too closely and committing several lane violations in the 11900 block of Ridgeland, police said. Dugue smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests, police said.SUNDAY, OCT. 20
Hospital Theft
Police say that after Clayton Hickey, 23, of the 4600 block of 87th Street in Chicago, was released from the emergency room at Palos Community Hospital he took a bag and placed "numerous medical items" into it. After attempting to leave he was stopped and charged with theft, police said.WEDNESDAY, OCT. 16
Meat Theft
Paul B. Rooney, 48, of the 6400 block of Central in Chicago, was charged with retail theft. Around 4 p.m. employees at Jewel, 12803 S. Harlem Avenue, reported that he had stolen $94.82 worth of meat, police said.More Police News
