2 Teens Die in Archer Avenue Crash Saturday

One was 17 and the other was 18 years of age.

Two teens died when their SUV struck a tree around 3:40 a.m. Saturday near Willow Springs in the 9400 block of South Archer Avenue, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Department. The two were in a Ford Explorer traveling east on a curve when the driver lost control. Both died at the scene. One has been identified as Jonathan Grabinski, 17, of Chicago Ridge. The other was identified as Salvatore Melant, 18, of Chicago.
