PALOS — The consolidated election on April 1, 2025 will feature several local races, including the race for the Palos School Dist. 118 Board of Education.

The last day to file petitions for the upcoming April election was Nov. 18. The Cook County Clerk has released an unofficial list of candidates for school board races.

According to the county clerk, four seats are currently up for renewal, each for 4-year terms, including incumbents Timothy Baker, of Orland Park; Susan M. Szafranski of Palos Park; and Jennifer Marie Jensen, who resides in Palos Heights.

Challengers are Orland Park residents Suzan Atallah, making her second run for the D118 board, and Kevin Quinn.
