Aurora Man Who Crashed Into Traffic Light Showed Signs Of Impairment: Police

Palos Heights police said the 28-year-old Aurora man showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — An Aurora man driving at an excessive speed was found to be driving on a suspended driver's after a one-vehicle crash, Palos Heights police reports said.

Around 4 a.m. June 7, the driver, later identified as 28-year-old Ryan N. Tran, when police said he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a traffic light at 123rd Street and Harlem Avenue.

Officers said Tran was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license from a previous DUI charge. Tran allegedly showed signs of impairment.

Tran was charged with aggravated DUI and DWLS, His next court date is June 9.
