Rocks Fly On Roberts Road, 3 Businesses Burglarized, Including Durbin's

Three Palos Hills businesses were broken into May 28 on Roberts Road, Palos Hills police said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Burglars used rocks to break into three Roberts Road business in Palos Hills during the overnight hours of May 28, reports said.

Someone broke the front glass door at Tacos Juniors Mexican Restaurant, 9736 S. Roberts Road. Nothing appeared missing.

Down the street at Durbin’s, 10154 S. Roberts Road, the front glass door was also found broken by a rock. Surveillance video captured four men arriving in a stolen gray Hyundai. Two made entry after busting the door. They left shortly after with their pals.

The burglars also broke into Palos Tobacco and Liquor, 10160 S. Roberts Road. A rock was used to shatter the front glass door. The cash drawer was found open, but nothing appeared missing.

Palos Hills police are investigating.

A similar burglar was also reported at a restaurant in Evergreen Park on May 31, where a brick was used to break the front glass door.
