DUI Charges for Crestwood, Palos Park Drivers: Blotter

SATURDAY, APRIL 20

DUI Charges For Crestwood Driver

Jennifer Percudani, 30, of Crestwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol greater than 0.08, improper lane use and failing to signal when required, according to a report. Police saw Percudani’s vehicle at about 3:45 a.m. swerving in the road and striking the curb in the 10000 block of Roberts Road. She was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. Percudani is due on May 30 in Bridgeview court.

FRIDAY, APRIL 19

Palos Park Man Charged With DUI

Sylwester Butryn, 34, of Palos Park, was charged with driving under the influence and two traffic citations, according to a report. Butryn was stopped at about 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of 88th Avenue and 103rd Street. An officer noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the car. Butryn was arrested after performing field sobriety tests. He is set to appear on April 30 in Bridgeview court.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18

Stagg Student Charged With Battery

A male Stagg High School student was charged with battery after inappropriately touching a female student on two different occasions, according to a report. Police were called at about 3:30 p.m. to the school. The student was referred to counseling on April 24 at the Markham courthouse.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17

Xanax Pill Distributed At School

A Stagg High School student and minor was charged with delivery of narcotics while at school, according to a report. The unidentified teen girl is accused of giving a Xanax pill, for which she had a prescription, to another student. The second student reportedly did not take the pill. The charged teen was taken to the Palos Hills Police Department and released to her parents. She is due to appear in the Bridgeview Juvenile Court.

Student Charged With Battery

A male Stagg High School student was charged with battery after he and another male student had words with each other, according to a report. Police were called at about 2 p.m. to the school, 8015 W. 111th St. The teen was arrested and will have to attend counseling on April 24 at the Markham courthouse.
