Palos South Girls 6th/7th Basketball Finishes 2nd in SWIC Conference
Sixth- and Seventh-grade Teams Places 3rd in the post season tournament

Palos South Middle School’s 6th and 7th grade girls’ basketball team finished their season in 2nd place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) and came in 3rd in the post-season tournament in December. The team, coached by Scott Adams, finished the season with a 12-2 record. The team includes Charlotte Chong, Victoria Halikias, Chelsea Tan, Riley Rispin, Dylann Arundel, Haylei Vaitkus, Vivienne Vincent, Ava Chong, Katherine Kaufmann, Lillian Rathbun, Olivia Houston, Lilly Koenig, and Eloise Fountain.
Dylann Arundel, Riley Rispin, and Ava Chong were named to the SWIC All-Conference Team.
“The girls put forth much effort and determination resulting in a very successful season. I appreciate the time they gave to accomplish their achievements. They represented our school with honor,” said Coach Scott Adams.

The eighth-grade girls team, coached by Niko Shein, finished the season at #5 in the conference with a 10-4 record and came in 4th in the post season tournament. Madeline Jackovac was named all-conference.
