Community Invited To Free Eggstravaganza For Saturday At Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
A free egg hunt for the community is planned Saturday, April 19, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Palos Heights.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is planning an Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 19. All are invited to the free egg hunt that will take place rain or shine from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church, 7800 W. McCarthy Road, Palos Heights.
The Egg Eggstravganza begins in the Family Life Center at the back of the church for an Easter message. Afterward, children will participate in the egg hunt, hopefully outside. Arrive a few minutes ahead to add children to the participant’s list at the welcome table.
Light refreshments will be available for attendees.
Holy Week schedule is 7:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday, April 17, foot washing and communion; Good Friday service at 12:30 p.m. April 18; Good Friday Tenebrae service at 7:30 p.m. April 18, featuring the church choir.

Easter events April 20 include sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. and festival services with special music and communion at 9 and 11 a.m. Online versions will be offered for the services at 7:30 p.m. April 17, 12:30 p.m. April 18 and 9 a.m. April 20.
