Back-To-School Outdoor Flick 'A Minecraft Movie' Beamed Friday On Palos Park Village Green
The Village of Palos Park, Project Fire Buddies and Local 4480 will host a free outdoor movie Friday, Sept. 5, on the village green.

PALOS PARK, IL — Enjoy a movie under the stars in celebration of a new school year, Friday, Sept. 5. “A Minecraft Movie” will be beamed on an inflatable screen at approximately 7:45 p.m. on the Palos Park village green, 8901 W. 123rd St.
The movie is being sponsored by the Village of Palos Park, in partnership with Project Fire Buddies and the Palos Professional Firefighters Local 4480.
Families are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to spread out on the green for a family-friendly outdoor experience.

Concessions will be available for purchase on site. The event is free and open to the public, and will be held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the screening will move indoors to the Palos Park Recreation Center Gymnasium.
“The Back to School Movie in the Park is a wonderful way for families to gather, relax, and enjoy time together as the school year begins,” said Stephen DeFalco, Director of Recreation and Parks for the Village of Palos Park.
