Pirates Plunder Packages From Porches In Palos Hills

PALOS HILLS, IL — Porch pirates were active in Palos Hills this week, with two separate thefts reported.

The first theft happened Dec. 12 in the 8900 block of 111th St. The resident said they had a package delivered to their porch, but it was stolen before they could retrieve it.

On Dec. 13, a package was delivered to an apartment complex in the 8400 block of 103rd Terrace. The package was left in the foyer, but snatched before the resident could get it.
