Green Hills Library Launches New Podcast: Checked Out

Green Hills Public Library District (GHPLD) is excited to announce the launch of a podcast called Checked Out, premiering on October 2, 2024. This monthly podcast will dive into discussions about film, television, music, video games, and of course – books.

Hosted by Library staff members Sara Shahein, Tessa Werden, and Klaudia Gorgon, Checked Out aims to foster vibrant discussions that resonate with teens, adults, and seniors alike. With the rising popularity of podcasts, GHPLD sees this as an innovative way to connect with the community and support its mission of lifelong learning. Listeners can expect a variety of content each month including favorite titles, pop culture insights, upcoming Library events, and guest appearances from other staff.

Checked Out will be available on popular streaming platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, and the Library’s website. No subscription or Library card is required to listen.
