Haul Out The Holly, Kris Kringle Mart Arrives Friday And Saturday In Palos Heights

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Haul out the holly and put up the tree, because Kris Kringle Market arrives Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, in Palos Heights, featuring holiday-themed crafts, festive libations, children’s activities and visits with Santa.
Kris Kringle Market, presented by CNB Bank and Trust and Rooftop Johnny’s will be held inside a lighted and heated tent in the Palos Heights municipal parking lot, 12217 S. Harlem Ave.
Over 40 vendors have confirmed their attendance at the greatly-expanded Kris Kringle Market, selling a wide array of Christmas decor and handmade items for your holiday gift giving.

Open ceremonies for the holiday festivities take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, featuring carolers and the arrival of a special visitor from the North Pole. Before the opening, at 4:30 p.m., Mayor Bob Straz will announce the tree decorating contest winners.
Gather curbside for the Santa Parade, which steps off promptly at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, from 126th Street and Harlem Avenue. The parade proceeds northbound on Harlem to College Drive.

Kris Kringle Mart continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Enjoy live holiday music, crafts, food, festive lights and more. The fest also features a food and beverage tent, offering beer and wine. Kids can visit Santa and work on crafts and other fun activities.
Stroll Olde Palos Shopping Centre where unique shops and restaurants also await.
