Hills Chamber Organizing Food Drive For Elsie's Pantry

Hills Chamber of Commerce is accepting nonperishable food items at a contactless food drive on Nov. 18 for Elsie's Pantry.

PALOS HILLS, IL — The Hills Chamber of Commerce serving Palos Hills and Hickory Hills is sponsoring a contactless food drive for Elsie's Pantry, 10040 S 88th Ave., Palos Hills, from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 18.

The number of people seeking food assistance had doubled, many of whom have lost income and jobs since the beginning of the pandemic.

Six drop-off locations are also currently collecting non-perishable food items through Friday, Nov. 13, at six locations:
