PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park kicks off the holiday season with a tree lighting ceremony, Jolly Jamboree and holiday market Thursday, Dec. 5. The Yuletide frivolity runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Palos Park Recreation Center, 8901 123rd St, Palos Park,
The countdown is on for Christmas with a tree lighting ceremony, Jolly Jamboree and holiday craft market, and, of course, the North Pole’s first citizen, Santa Claus.

5 p.m. – Preview the Holiday Market and sip some hot drinks
5:30 p.m. – Tree Lighting with the Mayor & Santa Claus
5:45 p.m. – Jolly Jamboree & Holiday Market
Jolly Jamboree will be full of games and activities for the kids, pictures with Santa and hot chocolate, all culminating with a holiday dance party and a special visitor. (We wonder who it will be?)
