LaGrange Road Construction To Begin May 1

Beginning May 1, median replacement construction will begin on LaGrange road—and that means lane closures.

From 131^st St. to 179^th St., lanes will close during two daily shifts: between 6 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the day, and 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. at night. However, two lanes will be open in either direction at all times, according to IDOT.

Drivers are cautioned to expect lane shifts and narrowed lanes while driving. Work is scheduled to complete near the end of July.
