Loaded Glock With Extended Magazine Found In Traffic Stop
A 34-year-old Chicago man who was a passenger in the car was found to be in possession of a gun, Palos Heights police said.
PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — A Chicago man is facing a gun charge after he was found in possession of a gun during a traffic stop in Palos Heights, reports said.
Just after 3:15 p.m. Dec, 6, officers curbed a vehicle in the 7100 block of West College Drive. A search of the vehicle turned up a Glock handgun, belonging to a passenger, 34-year-old Jaylon Sweezer, police said.
Officers said the Glock was equipped with an extended magazine loaded with 36 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

Sweezer was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He was released while his case was pending.
