Dozens Of Homes Set To Participate At Palos Hills Fall Bargain Days Garage Sales

PALOS HILLS, IL — Residents have decluttered their attics, basements and garages and will be selling their bounty Sept. 18 through Sept. 21, Thursday though Sunday, at the citywide Palos Hills Bargain Days garage sale. Over 75 sales – and counting – will be taking place around Palos Hills.

Most sales happen between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.; other sellers are skipping Thursday and Friday and will be selling their treasures on Saturday and Sunday.

Perusing the list of addresses (included here), thrifty shoppers will find children’s and adult clothing, baby things, accessories (purses, belts, jewelry), bikes, antiques vintage housewares, furniture, pet supplies, tools, books, CDs, DVDs, patio furniture, and even a lawnmower. Make the rounds with a list of things you need, or just go with an open mind.

“We expect lots of sellers and lots of shoppers,” said Dawn Williams, one of the organizers and admin of the Palos Hills Neighborhood Resources Facebook group. “We're trying to bring neighbors together.”
