Palos Fire Has Opening For Firefighter/Paramedic Position

PALOS, IL — The Palos Fire Protection District is actively searching for somebody to fill the open part time firefighter/paramedic position. If you're qualified, this is a great opportunity to get on the team and make a difference.

There are some requirements. Like most jobs, they require a high school diploma. Applicants must also have a valid Illinois driver's license.

Applicants must be Basic Firefighter certified (or have a Firefighter II certification) as well as EMT-P (paramedic) certification.

Also, applicants have to have passed the Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) within the last 12 months before submitting the application.
