Palos Hills Police Blotter: Marijuana Posession, $8,700 in Jewelry Stolen

GPS Grab

A GPS unit was taken from a car parked on the 10100 block of 86th Terrace. Police said that the driver's side window of the car was smashed.

SUNDAY, DEC. 18

Jewelry Theft

A resident of a home on the 8000 block of 111th Street reported that about $8,700 worth of jewelry was missing from the home, police said. Detectives are investigating.

SATURDAY, DEC. 17

Marijuana Possession

Yazan T. Khreisheh, 22, of Orland Park, was charged with possession of cannabis. Khreisheh was stopped in the 10100 block of Roberts Road at 3:11 a.m. and was found to be in possession of the drug, police said. 

THURSDAY, DEC. 15

Controlled Substance

Ibrahim Abu- Khaled, 25, of Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was stopped at 12:49 p.m. in the 10300 block of 82nd Avenue for traffic violations, police said.
