Palos Hills Police Blotter: DUI, Damaged Car and Stolen TV

Palos Hills police reports, Aug. 2-7.

SUNDAY, AUG. 7

DUI on Roberts Road

Richard Adamson, 24, of Hickory Hills, was charged with drunken driving after police stopped his car at about 3:30 a.m. in the 10600 block of Roberts Road. Adamson’s vehicle was swerving and he failed field sobriety tests, police said.

Stolen Bike

A bicycle was stolen out of a garage in the 10400 block of 84th Avenue, police said.

Revoked License Earns a Felony

Andres Nevarez, 34, was charged with felony aggravated driving with a revoked license. Nevarez went through a stoplight at the 103rd Street and Harlem Avenue, police said. It was then learned that he had a revoked license and a warrant out for his arrest. Nevarez has had nine prior convictions for driving on a revoked license, police said.

 TV and PlayStation Grabbed from Car

Sometime during the night, a 60-inch television and PlayStation were taken from a truck parked on the 10000 block of Wood Lane, police said. The rear lock of the truck had been cut to gain entry, police said.

Car Damaged

The driver’s side window of a car parked in a driveway on the 10500 block of 81st Avenue was found scratched and pushed off its track, police said.
