Palos Hills Police Blotter: Road Rage, Estate Sale Dust-Up and DUI
Palos Hills police reports, Jan. 4-7.

SUNDAY, JAN. 7
DUI on Roberts Road
Lukas Kandra, 26, of Hickory Hills, was charged with driving under the influence and driving without a valid license. At about 1:24 a.m. he was stopped in the 11100 block of Roberts Road after his car was seen swerving from lane to lane, police said. He failed a field sobriety test, police said.

Shed Ransacked
Sometime during the night a shed in the yard of a home on the 10300 block of 73rd Court was broken into, police said. A power washer, leaf blower and weed whacker were reported missing, police said.
Estate Sale Buyer Gets Nasty
Walter Sankowski, 48, of Oak Forest, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct. At an estate sale in the 9800 block of 86th Avenue a confrontation occurred between Sankowski and a woman over an item they both were interested in purchasing, police said. The woman offered a lower price for the item and Sankowski began yelling racial comments at the woman and her friend forcing them off the property, police said.

Tools Taken
A resident of the 10400 block of 75th Avenue awoke to find the doors of his truck open and tools missing from inside, police said.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 4
Road Rage
Ray Farhat, 42, of Burbank, was charged with disorderly conduct and assault. A woman was driving down Roberts Road and stopped at a red light at 103rd Street when Farhat got out of his car and began yelling and threatening the woman about her driving, police said. When the light turned green the woman called police who were able to locate him based on the description.
