7 Vehicles Burglarized Overnight In Palos Hills
Most of the vehicles were parked in their respective driveways, Palos Hills police reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — Burglars went on an overnight crime spree entering seven vehicles, most parked unlocked in their driveways in Palos Hills, taking items during the overnight hours of Aug. 11, reports said.
On 98th Place, several cars were broken into in separate incidents. Burglars grabbed a wallet, containing credit cards, sunglasses, a garage door transponder and cash in the 8600 block.
Someone entered a second vehicle on the same block, taking a garage transponder.

On the 8700 block of 98th Place, burglars entered a vehicle where a watch was swiped. Another vehicle on the same block was also rifled through, where burglars swiped a pair of sunglasses.
A pocketknife, flashlight and a small hammer were stolen from a vehicle in the 8900 block of 99th Street, and another vehicle up the street lost its garage door transponder.

Residents are urged to lock their car doors and to keep items out of sight by bringing them into the house or in the trunk. Also, be sure to remove garage transponders and key fobs from your vehicle.
