LWV Palos Orland Voter Education Event This Saturday To Focus On Fair Voter Maps In IL

PALOS, IL — The League of Women Voters of the Palos Orland Area continues its series of fall voter education events, “Fair Voter Maps In Illinois,” presented by the Redistricting Data Hub featuring speaker Dr. Kate Donovan.
Join the League, Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 S. 81st Ave. Light refreshments and conversation start at 9:30 a.m., with the presentation beginning at 10 a.m,
Learn how and why voter maps are created. Dr. Donovan will examine the proposed amendment to the Illinois Constitution, which will create an independent commission to draw maps the for the 2030 statewide election.
