PALOS PARK, IL — Step off with Palos Park Women’s Club this Saturday, May 8, for the third annual Mother’s Day Walk, a beloved community tradition that brings together families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate mothers while supporting local causes.

The walk steps off 8 a.m. at Lake Katherine, 7402 W. Lake Katherine Drive, Palos Heights. This year’s walk continues the club’s mission of fostering community connections and giving back. As an extra treat, a variety of local artisans will be featured the day of the walk, offering beautiful, hand-crafted gifts perfect for Mother’s Day.

Participants of all ages are invited to enjoy a scenic, leisurely walk at Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Garden with opportunities to honor the important women in their lives. The cost is $30 for adults over 18, $20 for kids 17 and under. Registration is now open on Eventbrite.
