Cops Stake Out Palos Heights, Palos Hills Dunkin Donuts For Special Olympics Illinois

PALOS HEIGHTS-PALOS HILLS, IL — Officers from Palos Heights, Palos Hills and Palos Park will be staking out the rooftops of their local Dunkin Donuts locations to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Illinois. The statewide “Cop On Top” event runs from 5 a.m. to noon Friday, May 16.

Start your Friday morning off right by making a donation to Special Olympics Illinois and get a coupon for a free donut at Dunkin. A donation of $10 or more gets you the donut and a medium coffee. Officers will also be handing out giveaways (while supplies last) and selling merchandise for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The delightful officers of the Palos Heights Police Department will be at both Dunkin locations, including 12807 S. Harlem Ave. and 11849 Southwest Highway.

The Palos Hills Police Department will be participating and raising funds during the event at the Dunkin’ located at 10340 S Harlem Avenue, Palos Hills.

Representatives from the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois will be collecting money that goes directly to support programming for Special Olympics athletes across the state.

Can’t make it Friday? Donations are also being accepted online. Donors can specify a police department.
