Resident Claims Someone Swiped Their Identity To Open A Credit Card

The resident realized their identity was compromised when they started receiving collection notices, Palos Hills police reports said.

PALOS HILLS, IL — A resident came to the Palos Hills police station on Oct. 16 to file a report for deceptive practices.

According to the report, the resident said someone used their identity to take out a credit card. When the resident received a collection notice for an unpaid credit card balance, they contacted police.
