Seven SUVs Broken Into During the Night in Palos Hills

If your car was broken into on Dec. 29, you are not alone. 

report that a total of seven different vehicles were hit during the night. All the vehicles targeted were SUVs and the rear dividers and car covers were removed from many of them. 

The back windows of the SUVs were broken and the vehicle covers and rear dividers were taken, police said. One Jeep, one Ford Escape, one GMC and four Ford Escapes were broken into, police said. 

Also taken from the vehicles were tools, a night bag, and a pair of boots. Two of the owners reported that nothing was missing. The incidents occurred at the following locations:

• 10200 block of 84th Terrace
• 8500 block of 103rd Terrace
• 10300 block of 81st Court
• 10300 block of 82nd Court
• 10100 block of Eleanor
• 10400 block of 81st Court

Detectives continue to investigate.
