Suspicious Car at Bus Stop Reported in Palos Park

Palos Park police officers are investigating a report that was made Wednesday evening concerning a suspicious car near a school bus stop.

At 8:40 a.m. a 15-year-old boy was waiting at a bus stop at 86th Avenue and Cherokee Road when a large dark gray pickup truck pulled up, police said. 

The man driving the truck asked the student if he wanted a ride to school. The boy declined and the school bus began to approach the stop, police said. 

The boy thought he saw the main display some type of badge before he drove away without saying anything, police said.
