Compliance Deadline Pushed Back in Proposed Changes to Park Ridge’s Signage Law

Park Ridge organizations would have four years to comply with new signage laws if the recommendations are adopted, and the new laws pass city council, TribLocal reported.

Park Ridge businesses and other organizations would have four years, increased from two years, to comply with proposed changes to the city’s signage laws, if the recommendations of the city’s legal department are adopted by city council, TribLocal reported. The proposed changes were sent to the planning and zoning commission for review, TribLocal reported.

The proposed changes to Park Ridge’s signage rules drew criticism from several members of the business community at a meeting in January.
