Des Plaines Man Charged with First-Degree Murder Arrested Multiple Times

A Des Plaines man charged with first-degree murder earlier this month was arrested multiple times in Cook County during the last 20 years, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. David P. Marshall, 38, of unincorporated Des Plaines, was arrested 25 times in Cook County since 1991, including the most recent arrest on a murder charge, according to a spokesperson for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

Among the violations Marshall was accused of committing, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, he was arrested seven times for battery, three times for aggravated assault and once for mob action – failure to disperse.

Marshall was arrested for driving on a suspended license by the Des Plaines police in 2000, stated Des Plaines Deputy Chief Nick Treantafeles.
