PARK RIDGE, IL – April 18, 2025 — TeaLula, a cornerstone of the Park Ridge community since 2008, is brewing something new. After 17 years of serving premium loose-leaf teas and building a loyal following, TeaLula has expanded its offerings to include a seasonal lunch menu, now available Tuesday through Sunday in the TeaLula Café.

Expanded Offerings for Tea-Loving Guests
Following the success of its elegant Afternoon Tea service—introduced last year—TeaLula’s new light lunch fare features homemade soups, fresh salads, and signature sandwiches inspired by the same elevated flavors that define its tea experience. Guests can enjoy comforting classics like the House Tomato Basil soup, crisp Caesar and chopped salads, and elevated sandwich options like The Rockefeller (chicken salad with lemon mayo and tarragon) and the Eggquisite Tradition (creamy egg salad on wheat).
“The café menu is a natural extension of what our guests already love,” says Sheila Duda, owner of TeaLula. “People have visited TeaLula to slow down and savor the moment. Now, they can do that over lunch as well.”

TeaLula Continues Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea service, available Friday through Sunday by reservation, continues to delight with its three-tiered presentation of seasonal scones, petite sandwiches, and artful desserts—all designed by Executive Chef Jeffrey Scialabba, whose culinary résumé includes prestigious destinations like the Chatham Bars Inn and The Ritz-Carlton Boston.

Located just minutes from O’Hare and I-90, TeaLula is easily accessible for those traveling from Barrington, Lake Forest, and neighboring suburbs. Whether it's a girls' day out, a mother-daughter tea date, or a quiet solo lunch, TeaLula welcomes guests to reconnect over a thoughtfully brewed pot of tea and a satisfying bite.
