Longtime Alderman Rich DiPietro Steps Down

Park Ridge Alderman Rich DiPietro has left his position after 18 years on the job, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reports.

DiPietro, 69, resigned as alderman on Monday, and newly elected alderman Nicholas Milissis took over his role. DiPietro will also retire from his career as owner of graphics production firm CrossTech Communications. He tells the newspaper one of his best moments in office came when he helped the fight against Advocate Lutheran General’s plan to buy homes on Western Avenue in order to build office units. Β
