Maine East Student Named Honorable Mention on Academic Team

A Maine East High School student was named an honorable mention of the Daily Herald’s Northwest Suburban Academic Team.

John Daniel Depa of Niles has earned a 4.88 GPA on a weighted 4.0 scale. His ACT score was 32, and he plans to major in film. Depa is a member of the National Honor Society and an Illinois State Scholar.  Read about all of the honorable mentions on the Daily Herald.
