Man Crashes Into Park Ridge House After Medical Emergency
A parked car was pushed into a house Tuesday morning in Park Ridge.

A medical emergency is believed to have caused a man to crash his vehicle into a home Tuesday morning in Park Ridge, officials say.
The crash was reported in the 700 block of N. Northwest Highway at about 10 a.m.
A 39-year-old man pulled into a private driveway after experiencing a medical emergency, according to Park Ridge police.

The Chicago Sun Times reports:
He pulled his vehicle into a home’s driveway on that block and lost consciousness, police said. He woke up to find emergency responders caring for him.

His vehicle pushed into another vehicle that was parked in the driveway into the house, police said. The victim’s vehicle then moved through the yard and stopped against a rear fence.
The driver was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge for treatment for both minor injuries suffered in the crash and his medical emergency, police said.
