New Board Member for District 63

There’s a new member on East Maine Elementary School District 63’s school board, the Journal & Topics reports.

Angelo Scarsella will be joining the board to replace John Jekot, who was elected to the Niles Village Board in April. Scarsella was chosen in a closed meeting on June 3, and the decision was announced June 6, the newspaper reports. He be sworn in next month.
