Park District, Historical Society Talk Solomon Cottage Deal

The Park Ridge Park District is in talks with the Park Ridge Historical Society about claiming ownership of the Solomon Cottage on the former Youth Campus property, the Journal & Topics reports.  

The groups would like to create an affiliate agreement where the Park District owns the building, and the Historical Society would be a partner. Additional details still need to be discussed like who will pay for the anticipated $120,000 in renovations, and if the historical society will continue to use the space, the newspaper reports.
