Since the days when they were the backbone of the production staff coordinating all the scenery and props and costuming Oakton Rink Ice Shows, Dick and Dorothy Dusold have been adding to ambiance that is Park Ridge in countless ways.
Currently serving as co-Presidents of the Friends of the Library where they have volunteered for almost 40 years, they have organized wonderful book sales that are held twice a year and so much more to help support our Library. Retiring after 18 years of dedicated service to the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra (PRCO) Dick and Dorothy have worked on everything from stage management to setting chairs and music stands, to hauling lights and equipment.
Going the extra mile for each PRCO member, they set up tables for instruments and snacks, built coat racks for winter shows, cleaned out the dressing rooms and managing the electric, lighting and sound for the concerts and performed countless other tasks quietly and without fanfare.
