The Park Ridge Holiday Lights NFP fund has a goal of raising funds to pay for the professional installation of lights in the Uptown and South Park business districts for the holidays.
A small committee of business owners and civic leaders in Park Ridge joined together to form a not-for-profit organization in 2015 with the goal of raising enough funds each year to pay for the professional installation of lights throughout both business districts, according to the fund's website.
This year’s goal is to raise $35,000 by Nov. 1. to light up even larger areas of Uptown and South Park and to meet the Fund’s financial commitment to its vendor, Holiday Creations Pro, Inc., based out of Broadview, IL.
