Park Ridge to Pay Des Plaines for Emergency Dispatch Services
Park Ridge will pay the city of Des Plaines $2.5 million for two years.

The Park Ridge City Council has approved an intergovernmental agreement to pay the city of Des Plaines for two years of emergency dispatch service, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reports.
The North Suburban Emergency Communication Center, which formerly handled 911 dispatch for Niles, Morton Grove, Des Plaines and Park Ridge, dissolved in August. Des Plaines later launched their own 911 call center. Park Ridge will pay Des Plaines $1.25 million per year for the services, the Herald-Advocate reports.Β
