Pedestrian, 55, Fatally Struck By Car Near Maine East: Park Ridge PD

PARK RIDGE, IL — A 55-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car Friday morning while walking near Maine East. The accident occurred at around 10:09 a.m. at the intersection of Dempster and Potter, according to Park Ridge police. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as David Jutovsky, of Northbrook.

Residents had been advised to avoid Dempster Street eastbound and Potter Road northbound for an investigation. Patch had reported earlier officers and emergency crews were on scene.

The Park Ridge Police Department is being assisted by the MCAT Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Unit for the investigation.
