Missing University Of Illinois Student Found Dead: Report
Deven Lane, 18, was found dead two days after he was reported missing.
PEORIA, IL — An 18-year-old University of Illinois student reported missing earlier this week was found Wednesday, according to reports citing Peoria police and the Peoria County coroner.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to the 5500 block of North Graceland where an adult man was found unresponsive and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
WCIA-TV in Champaign identified the man as Deven Lane, citing the Peoria County coroner. Lane, who was reported missing Monday, was last seen Friday around 9:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of North Sterling in Peoria, according to police.
