Andrew John "Drew" Faught passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the age of 27 as a result of an automobile accident while serving as a member of the IL Dept. of Corrections T.R.T. team. Andrew was born in Joliet on February 22, 1997, to Timothy Faught and Linda Melby. He was raised in Morris and was graduate of Morris Community High School with the Class of 2014. Drew loved sports, especially his time playing football with the Morris Chiefs, and the Morris Redskins football and wrestling teams. He also enjoyed weightlifting. But the most important thing to Drew was family. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle.
Drew has been an officer for the Illinois Department of Corrections for the past 6 years, first serving at the Pontiac Correctional Center, then being promoted to Sgt., and most recently serving as a member of the Tactical response Team. He was known for being hardworking and committed to serving his community and coworkers.

Drew is survived by his parents, Linda and Eric Melby, and Timothy and Gina Faught; his siblings, Ashley (Michael) Schanks, Aryk Senisais, Patrick (Alex Birsa) Melby, Debra (Nick Serafinn) Faught, Cassidy Roberts, Katie Clancy, Aaron Melby, and Savannah (Sofia Rodriguez) Melby; his grandfathers, Esteban Senisais and Jon Melby; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Martha Senisais, Betty Faught, and Jeannie Male; sister, Ashleigh Elizabeth Faught in infancy; uncle, Ricardo Senisais and aunt, Debra Ann Senisais.

Visitation for Drew Faught will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. U.S. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive), Morris, from 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 8:00 p.m.
