PHOTOS: Foreigner and Loverboy in Peoria

Foreigner and Loverboy played the Peoria Civic Center Arena on September 25th.

It feels like the first time, but it might be the last time.

Foreigner and Loverboy, fresh off their own summer tours, came to Peoria on September 25th for a mid-week rock show at the Peoria Civic Center Arena.

Loverboy just wrapped up a summer trek with Sammy Hagar, while Foreigner had joined forces with Styx and John Waite. The Patch covered both of their Illinois shows in Tinley Park, IL.

Lucky choir students from Illinois Central College even shared the stage with Foreigner for "I Want to Know What Love Is" in Peoria.

Foreigner is calling their current stretch on the road, which included Wednesday’s Peoria show, their “farewell tour”.

Time will tell if Foreigner will truly call it quits after 2024, or if these juke box heroes are just playing head games.

Although Foreigner has no more local dates on their schedule, Loverboy will be in nearby Bloomington on November 9th with REO Speedwagon.
