  1. A local family of five was displaced by a house fire Sunday night. The Peoria Fire Department responded to a two-story house fire on N. Glen Ct. late on Sunday. Thankfully, the two adults and three children were safely evacuated and have no reported injuries. While the cause of the fire was unintentional, the damage is estimated to be $50,000. (25 News Now)
  2. Beginning today, there will be a temporary lane reduction on McClugage Bridge. The lane reduction comes from a routine inspection of the bridge, which is expected to last four to five days (weather permitting). The eastbound bridge is being replaced, with the new date for the bridge's construction to finish in 2024. (Subscription: Peoria Journal Star)
