• Peotone Police Blotter: December 4 (southwestregionalpublishing.com) — Peotone residents are being alerted to several recent police incidents, including a hit-and-run at 88th Avenue and Peotone-Wilmington Road and repeated misuse of 911 calls on Hauert Street. Officers also helped Alsip police recover a reportedly stolen trailer at the Peotone Travel Center. Authorities emphasize that 911 must be reserved strictly for real emergencies.
