One person was taken to a local hospital by ambulance after a medical helicopter was initially requested, though officials have not released details on the cause or severity of the injury. 
• Customs & Border Patrol agent accused of sexual assault and robbery to stay in custody (wgntv.com) — A Pingree Grove resident who works as a Customs and Border Patrol agent will remain in federal custody while facing serious civil-rights and firearm charges tied to alleged assaults in suburban hotels. Prosecutors argued he is a flight risk due to dual citizenship and possible witness intimidation, while a judge cited strong evidence including multiple witnesses and DNA in denying his release.
