Catch Disney's 'Soul' At Bott Park Drive-In Next Month
Plainfield Park District will screen the movie, which follows a jazz musician, on Friday, Sept. 10. Registration costs $15 per car.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Get your tickets now for Plainfield's next drive-in movie, Disney/Pixar's "Soul," which will be screened at Bott Park on Friday, Sept. 10 beginning at 8 p.m.
Registration can be completed here and costs $15 per car. Guidelines will be emailed to moviegoers a couple days before the movie, the Plainfield Park District said on its website.
The rain date will be Saturday, Sept. 11.

"Soul" tells the story of Joe Gardner (voiced by Jamie Foxx), a middle school band teacher and jazz musician who gets his big break. But before Joe can perform, a misstep lands him in "The Great Before."

There, he teams up with soul 22 (voiced by Tina Fey), and together they "find the answers to some of life's biggest questions," according to Disney+'s description of the movie.
Past drive-in movies at Bott Park have included Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Croods: A New Age, and Raya and the Last Dragon.
