Cocaine Found In DUI Driver's Car 'Swerving All Over The Roadway': PD
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Route 59 and 127th Street in Plainfield.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A call about a car swerving along Route 59 and 127th Street on Feb. 9 led to a woman being arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, Plainfield police said.
Officers were dispatched at 6:23 p.m. to the vicinity of Route 59 and 127th Street for a reckless driving assignment. A caller provided police with a description of the car and said it was "swerving all over the roadway," Commander Anthony Novak told Patch.
Police say an officer later watched as the driver, identified as 35-year-old Alexandra Davit, improperly used a lane and pulled her over to conduct a traffic stop. The incident was reported in Plainfield police's blotter on Tuesday.

The officer made "several observations ... that led the officer to believe Alexandra operated the vehicle while under the influence." Davit submitted to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of drugs, Novak said.
During a custodial search, the officer found a "rock-like substance" in a plastic bag believed to be crack cocaine and later field-tested positive for cocaine, according to Novak.
